Project Overview

Iku's Project began with a simple 2D watercolor canvas, serving as a starting point for a creative journey. It provided the backdrop for refining my hard-surface modeling skills, a pivotal step in this undertaking. The transition from 2D to 3D was an artistic challenge to explore the captivating world of metallic shading and texture.

Another distinctive challenge within this project was my dedication to faithfully replicate the intricate watercolor patterns onto futuristic metallic surfaces. This presented a unique opportunity to broaden my artistic horizons. The outcome was not only visually captivating but also an illustration of the synergy between art and technology.

Unlike the original watercolor, I envisaged Iku's Project as a canvas for a futuristic robotics story, where each shade and texture symbolized distinct skills and functions.
